Why there is no cookie banner
Romanian Law 506/2004, which implements the ePrivacy Directive, requires consent before storing information on your device, except where that storage is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested.
Every cookie on this site falls within that exemption. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, so there is nothing to ask consent for, and no banner is shown. Browsing the public site sets no cookies at all.
Cookies used
- ACCESS_TOKEN
- Strictly necessary. Keeps the site owner signed in to the administration area. HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, and sent only over HTTPS. Expires after two hours, or on sign-out. Never set for ordinary visitors.
- XSRF-TOKEN
- Strictly necessary. Carries a token that lets the server distinguish a genuine form submission from a cross-site request forgery attempt. Set when the contact form or the administration area is loaded. Expires when the browser session ends.
Local storage and similar technologies
The administration area stores a light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. It contains no personal data, is never sent to the server, and is only ever written for the site owner.
No web beacons, tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts or third-party embeds are used on this site.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because the cookies listed above are strictly necessary rather than optional, blocking them will not affect your use of the public site, only the ability to sign in to the administration area.
