The website itself

This is a portfolio. The projects shown are presented as examples of past work; they do not constitute an offer, and nothing on this site creates a binding commitment to provide services on any particular terms.

Reasonable care is taken to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as is. No guarantee is given that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

Intellectual property

All design work, imagery, layout and text on this site is the intellectual property of Voican Ioana PFA or of the clients who commissioned the work, and is protected under Romanian Law 8/1996 on copyright and related rights.

You may view and share links to these pages. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or adapt any part of the site for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Client logos and project imagery appear with permission and remain the property of their respective owners.

Enquiries and quotations

Submitting the contact form starts a conversation; it does not create a contract. Any engagement is governed by a separate written agreement or accepted quotation setting out scope, deliverables, timeline, fees and payment terms.

In the absence of a signed agreement, no work is undertaken and no fee is owed.

Commissioned work

Where a project is agreed, the following applies unless the written agreement says otherwise:

• Copyright in the final deliverables transfers to the client once payment has been received in full. Until then, all rights are retained.
• Moral rights, including the right to be identified as the author, remain with the designer under Law 8/1996 and cannot be transferred.
• The right to display the completed work in this portfolio and in professional promotion is retained, unless confidentiality has been agreed in writing.
• Source files, working documents and unused concepts are not included in a delivery unless expressly agreed.
• Fonts, stock photography and third-party assets are licensed to the client separately and are not covered by the project fee unless stated.

Your rights as a consumer

If you commission work as a consumer rather than in the course of a business, Romanian consumer-protection law applies, including Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014 on distance contracts.

You generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Where you ask for work to begin during that period and expressly acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once the service is fully performed, that right ends on completion.

Complaints may be addressed to the Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor (ANPC, www.anpc.ro). You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, liability arising from use of this website or from a design engagement is limited to the fees paid for the work in question, and does not extend to indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data.

Personal data

Personal data submitted through this site is handled as described in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. The courts of Cluj-Napoca, Romania have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory protection available to you as a consumer in your country of residence.
